We at the M.A.H.Y. Khoory Group trace our origins back to the 1930’s, when Dubai was but a young player in the business of international trade. Thanks to its strategic geographical advantage, Dubai was steadily evolving into an important trade hub, moving people and resources across the world. The M.A.H.Y. Khoory Group of today is proud to be among the very few who played a part in the transformation of Dubai, having set up the first office of M.A.H.Y. Khoory & Co. to pave the path for the technological revolution in the Arabian world.

A journey of many firsts

With its central location on the world map, Dubai was soon turning into a hub for investments and businesses. As the emirate increasingly grew at a steady pace, so did the need for infrastructure solutions. M.A.H.Y. Khoory & Co, then played a pioneering role in introducing advanced water-pumping technologies in the UAE, allowing buildings, factories and other installations to stand on par with international standards for water-pumping solutions.

Our folks at M.A.H.Y. Khoory & Co. worked around the clock to acquire innovative brands to further improve its portfolio of highly-advanced technological solutions. Our partnership with Grundfos revolutionized water-pumping solutions in the country. A decades-old partnership, Grundfos and the M.A.H.Y. Khoory Group continue to work closely together in bringing products and solutions that are relevant to the UAE.

Recycling for a better world

Following the humungous success of its water-pumping solutions, M.A.H.Y. Khoory & Co. expanded into the challenging venture of paper recycling. Another first for the UAE, M.A.H.Y. Khoory & Co. established Union Paper Mills in 1988, bringing paper-recycling technology into the Arabian world and helping reduce wastage at a very early stage in the economic growth of Dubai.

In 2006, Union Paper Mills invested on machinery to expand its capacity for recycled-paper production. Today, Union Paper Mills has a production capacity of 500 tonnes of recycled paper per day, another first in the country.

Union Paper Mills has created its own waste-collection model and provides recycling solutions to hotels and other commercial establishments and industries. Going beyond recycling paper, Union Paper Mills has developed other waste-management solutions, such as Food Waste Management.

Beyond offering engineering solutions, we at the M.A.H.Y. Khoory Group are proud to introduce Khoory Kitchens, which focuses on bringing kitchen and wardrobe concepts to life. We offer interior designs, flooring solutions, appliances and other interior elements that make for a warm, cozy place that you can call home.

Looking to meet the unique demands of architects across the Middle East, Khoory Kitchens has linked with several European brands to offer clients an even broader array of options for flooring, furnishings and complete kitchen solutions.
