    Site Engineer - Civil

    JOB TITLE : Site Engineer – Civil
    DEPARTMENT : Pure Energy Construction LLC
    LOCATION: U.A.E.

    A. Purpose and Scope
    To plan, supervise, execute, and manage all on-site day to day construction/installation activities that includes minor to major construction activities related to the installation of solar power plants, warehouses, steel contracting and building contracting. Scope will cover managing multi-disciplinary site team, sub-contractors, and other resources; ensuring safe construction practices; coordination within the project team; liaising between other contractors, consultant, client or any other stake holders involved; handling on-site authority inspections and providing daily reports and updates from site.
    B. Responsibilities and Duties

    • The Site Engineer assists the Project Managers/Project Engineers in executing all project requirements according to the company standards ensuring that QHSE policies are strictly adhered to.
    • Supervise all on-site construction including subcontractor’s, resolve day-to-day problems on the job site and inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
    • Leading, directing, and monitoring the performance of all site Foremen and support staff in the team.
    • Responding with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents.
    • Advising and assisting the sub-contractors on construction procedures.
    • Observing the safety procedures followed by the contractor and issuing instructions as necessary to correct safety violations.
    • Liaising with the consultant and design team to achieve the highest achievable standards within the contracts.
    • Monitoring progress, assessing of standards, reviews, design changes and advise Project Manager as to its progress.
    • Assists in development of new project proposals. Includes directing and preparing layouts, developing budget estimates, BOQs, preparing preliminary and detailed designs, collating all required information.
    • Assists in management of construction projects. Includes overseeing the development of the detailed project drawings, interacting with contractors, administering sub-contracts as required and exercising overall site control of the project.
    • Administers excavation work permit procedures. Includes reviewing drawings for underground utilities, determining feasibility of work, and giving approval.
    • Provides engineering and related technical advice on construction or related matters, overseeing document control activities, liaising with Engineers in other sections etc.
    • Ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s QHSE policies and procedures, ensuring that appropriate preparatory and protective measures are employed at all stages of the work by employees and contractors. Arranges for appropriate safety training to be given to employees and contractors on site.
    • Preparation of Inspection and test plans for in-house projects and reviewing the same submitted by the contractors.
    • Reviewing workshop/Fabrication drawings and explains to the site team.
    • Carries-out inspection of day-to-day activities and reporting to the Project Manager/Project Engineer.
    • Managing and co-ordination of on-site authority inspections by DEWA, DM, DDA, TRAKHEES or any other related authorities such as RTA, ETISALAT, etc.
    • Takes ownership of the site activities from site development to completion and handing over
    • Planning resources application in advance and tracking the costs for each application.
    • Capable of preparing Method of Statement, Risk Assessments, and job safety Analysis of site activities.

    • Responsible for all company assets and resources at site and ensure all resources are utilized in an efficient and effective manner.
    • Site activities will mainly include construction of foundations, installation/erection of steel structures, construction of warehouses, installation of solar panels over rooftop of buildings including residential, commercial and industrial; electrical activities including cable pulling, cable crossing, trench works and manholes; power shutdowns; ground preparation and finishing including floor re-instating using bitumen or interlock and other miscellaneous activities involved from time to time as per project requirement.

    Sourcing Executive

    JOB TITLE : Sourcing Executive
    DEPARTMENT : RECYCLABLE WASTE MANAGEMENT DIVISION
    LOCATION: Northern Emirates, U.A.E.

    A. Purpose and Scope

    To develop and grow the OCC collection target for the company by generating and signing-off purchasing contracts with prospective clients and by utilizing in-house waste collection helpers (Own and Paid). To manage administration and operations, maintenance activities of equipment & machineries of all yards under control.
    B. Responsibilities and Duties

    Business Development Role
    • Perform business development activities through cold calling and visiting prospective clients and generate business opportunities for the organization.

    • Maximize the collection limits & purchase power of OCC in Northern Emirates through setup business procedures viz-a- viz contract collection, paid collection and own collection.

    • Establish a clear leadership position for OCC collection and mitigate associated operational risk through appropriate liasioning and negotiations with government agencies & business partners.

    • Identifying new opportunity & grow customer base by obtaining contracts from new customers and targeting untapped free collection areas for helpers.

    • Ensure that partners/clients/customers fulfil all criteria of the contracts such as payment terms, signing of agreements and guarantees etc.

    • Manage dumping activities of general waste; (paper, plastics, metals and cardboard) being recovered after segregation, and the remainder sent to landfill.

    Assistant Despatch Supervisor

    A.    Purpose and Scope

    • To be well versed problem in trouble shooting of DOL, starter, Star/Delta starter, VFD drives, EOT crane, all type of motor connection, Cable glanding, Motor overhauling, transformer maintenance etc.

    B. Responsibilities and Duties

    • To generate business opportunities through the selling of the product mainly within UAE & GCC

    • Apply structured sales management process to maximize sales and increased market penetration to Building services, Infrastructures projects & Industries.

    • Manage and develop growth of key products. Visiting sites & liaising regularly with end users/ clients, project site personnel, consultants, main contractors/ MEP contractors, government departments to generate inquiries, provide solutions & close the sales and achieve sales target.

    • Interact with clients & establish good rapport, determine customer needs & provide a clear interpretation of their requirements from the enquiry onset, explain & relate benefits to product features, handling objectives and ensure good working relationship and closing the deal.

    • Follow up sales enquiry, gather client’s feedback and provide further information as required.

    • Create new enquiries and maintain an effective enquiry database with robust enquiry and order pipeline.

    • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales – especially managing personal time and productivity.

    • Prepare quotations, technical submittals, proposals, specifications.

    • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.

    • Obtaining approval from different consultants.

    • Conduct customer satisfaction survey in order to analyse and measure company’s product quality and services for continuous improvement.

    • To ensure that the services provided is of the highest quality and in line with company services standards.

    • Liaising with service department.

    • Generating leads for cross sales teams.

    • Service has to be taken care as and when required.

    Order processing
    • To ensure that customers fulfills all criteria of the contract such as payment, signing of purchase orders agreements.

    • To liaise with the credit control department to ensure all invoices are issued and payments are received on time.

    • To liaise with sales co-ordinators, warehouse, pump assembly plant, control panel divisions for timely delivery.

    Reporting
    • Attend weekly team meeting with weekly activity reports.

    General
    • Recommend improvements to departmental policy and implement procedures and controls covering all areas of Project Sales function, so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost effective service to customers.

    • Ensure compliance to all relevant QHSE procedures and controls across Project Sales function to guarantee employee safety, health, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

    Single Facer Operator

    JOB TITLE : Single Facer Operator
    DEPARTMENT : National Paper Industries
    LOCATION: Dubai, U.A.E.

    A. Purpose and Scope

    Responsible for install, maintain, and operate machinery. They must have a strong understanding of the machines they work with. In-depth training may be required in order to prepare a machine operator for their daily duties.

    B. Responsibilities and Duties

    • Accurate and efficient set-up of the machine in accordance with proper setup techniques.
    • Ensure machine set-up, start-up, operation, and shut down tasks under direction of the machine operator.
    • Set machine belts to job specifications, mount/dismount die boards, set folding belts/ folding rails, rollers to job specifications.
    • Properly operate machine to run efficiently, produce quality products and maximize machine utilization.
    • Check quality of boxes during the run, including – mis-slotted boxes, loose liner, misprints, and any other defects.
    • Prepare reports on production data, machine operational status, safety data, quality data, record downtime.
    • Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
    • Adheres to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals. Reports any unusual scheduling issues to supervisor.
    • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
    • Support on manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.

    • Work closely with management on any issues regarding the corrugator operation.

    Service Technician

    JOB TITLE : Service Technician
    DEPARTMENT : Machinery Workshop
    LOCATION: Dubai, U.A.E.

    A. Purpose and Scope

    Commissioning, servicing and maintenance of pumps in both site and workshop as per the schedule & direction / specification obtain from service engineer. Ensure most economical and effective methods. Mentor & instruct technician, mechanics & helpers.

    B. Responsibilities and Duties

      • Inspects defective equipment (pumps) and diagnoses malfunctions, using test instruments, such as motor analyzers, flow test equipment, pressure gauges etc.
      • Inspects, repairs, and maintains electrical & electronics parts & equipments of pumps and pressure vessels. Disassembles and overhauls internal components; replace defective components.
      • Apply related electrical knowledge to repair & test electrical & electronics components of the pumps. Assembles electrical & electronics system of pumps according to specification obtain from service engineer or suppliers.
      • Cuts, threads and tightens pump parts to assemble pump section and install, using hand tools and power tools; aligns pump parts to minimize friction, using hand tools and gauges; verifies alignment of pump shaft by visually inspecting or using dial indicator; lubricates moving parts, testing of repaired pumps as per specification and maintain the cleanliness of repaired pump.
      • Inspects and verifies dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to suppliers specifications.
      • Reads job orders and observes and listens to operating equipment to ensure conformance to specifications or to determine malfunctions, repairs & installations.
      • Analyze the site condition and prepare the list of materials required for commissioning/repair, preparing the commissioning report as per given format. Provide technical feedback to service engineer for each site.
      • Assist service engineer for analysis of failure in case of warranty & recommends repair or adjustment of motor to improve operation of pumps.
      • Prepare quotation and enter the same in workshop quotation logbook for estimation by service engineer.

      General
