    Assistant Technical Consultant

    A. Purpose and Scope

    Develop specifications and selection for installation of a variety of water pumps / control panels ranging from residential to industrial uses and prepares cost estimates for projects on determining price of finished product and service and check for technical compliance. Specialize according to particular service performed or type of product assembled/manufactured.

    Computes cost factors used for preparing estimates for management and determining cost effectiveness.

    B. Responsibilities and Duties

    • Drafting and Specifying Technicalities of pumps & Devices. Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to inform others (customers/manger) about how pumps, devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
    • Estimating the characteristics of pumps & devices, or Information, estimating sizes, distances, and quantities, or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity. Evaluating information against a set of standards and verifying that it is correct.

    Principal Project Engineer - Civil

    JOB TITLE : Principal Project Engineer – Civil
    DEPARTMENT : PDPN

    A. Purpose and Scope

    Responsible for managing & commissioning the project to setup a best in class corrugated board and packaging production company in UAE at Kizad Industrial Zone. The project will include factory erection, installation of new machines, moving machines from existing factory in Ajman (i.e., NPI) to Kizad and finally commissioning of the factory. The layout of factory and construction must be future ready for addition/installation of new automation systems as per the production demand.

    Responsible to deliver specific projects milestone to achieve their goals on schedule and on budget.

    B.  Responsibilities and Duties

    • Responsible for overall civil function, planning, coordinating & executing day to day activities
    • Coordinate factory design regarding production process, required infrastructure, machine foundations, resources supply etc.
    • Planning and coordinating installation of production equipment and required infrastructure.
    • Planning and monitor the moving of the production equipment from NPI to the new to construct factory.

    B. Responsibilities and Duties

    • Designs controls and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
    • Evaluates design ideas for functioning, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, and market characteristics to ensure installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
    • Examines electronic schematics and analyzes logic diagrams and design documents to plan layout of printed circuit board components and circuitry of control panels, booster set,& pumps.

    Purpose and Scope

    • Good knowledge and hands on experience on tools, & tackles (Chain blocks, wire ropes, slings, sledge – hammer, etc.).

    Principal Project Engineer - Mechanical

    JOB TITLE : Principal Project Engineer – Mechanical
    DEPARTMENT : PDPN
    LOCATION: Dubai / Abu Dhabi

    A. Purpose and Scope

    Responsible for managing & commissioning the project to setup a best in class corrugated board and packaging production company in UAE at Abu Dhabi. The project will include factory erection, installation of new machines, moving machines from existing factory in Ajman (i.e., NPI) to Abu Dhabi and finally commissioning of the factory. The layout of factory and construction must be future ready for addition/installation of new automation systems as per the production demand.

    Responsible to deliver specific projects milestone to achieve their goals on schedule and on budget.

    B.  Responsibilities and Duties

    • Responsible for overall mechanical function, planning, coordinating & executing day to day activities
    • Coordinate factory design regarding production process, required infrastructure, machine foundations, machine resources supply etc.
    • Planning and coordinating installation of production equipment and required infrastructure.
    • Planning and monitor the moving of the production equipment from NPI to the new to construct factory.
    • Coordinate inquiries for required additional production equipment, assist with purchase, installation and start up.
    • Finalizing specification of mechanical items for process areas.
    • Check of erection and installation drawing and specification.
    • Preparation of erection & installation enquiry specification, floating enquiries, arranging erection offers, preparing Tender Comparison and finalizing erection contract for mechanical work.
    • Act as point of contact for organizing required infrastructure.
    • Organize the project construction follow up meetings, prepare the minutes of the meetings and expedite the progress.
    • Check the executed work on accuracy, quality, and quantity. Check the received invoices on volumes, execution, and correctness before issuing for signing.
    • Organize temporary technical storage during the construction for all machinery related parts and final technical storage.
    • Organize all required spare parts to start up the moved machines and for post start up.
    • Check the technical condition in coordination with NPI technical team and acknowledge required repairs, modification which needs to be done during moving process. Post starts up, manage the maintenance department.
    • Responsible for checking & approving supplier’s main documents for control and mechanical items.
    • Monitoring and reporting on project and work progress in relation to the agreed schedules. Preparation of additional time schedules as required on site.
    • Responsible to limit mechanical downtime by carrying out planning for preventive maintenance with coordination of process heads and procuring quality spares.

    JOB TITLE : Roll Grinder Operator

    Purpose and Scope

    To operate the roll grinder and be responsible for its mainteinance.

    B. Responsibilities and Duties

    • To take the dimensions like diameter, camber on the roll surface and any edge relieving for the roll received.
    • Prepare a rough report and hand it over to his supervisor.
    • To grind the rolls as per the requirement of the Production/Mechanical dept.
    • In case the rolls are from other mills, grind the rolls as per their requirement.
    • Again check the roll after grinding as under point no. 1 and 2.
    • To keep his supervisor informed about any material requirement like grinding wheel, dressing tools, belts, cutting fluid requirement and lubricant etc.
    • To maintain the cleanliness of the roll grinder and report to his supervisor if there is any noticeable problem.
    • To take care of proper lubrication requirement of the grinder.
    • In case of some emergency, he can be asked to work on lath machine.

    • Designs controls and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
    • Evaluates design ideas for functioning, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, and market characteristics to ensure installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.

    • Modifies design to conform to customer specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends.
    • Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to inform others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained or used.
    • Cautions the production engineer  in case there is any change  in the drawings while the project  is in progress.
    • Creates and designs graphic material for use as ornamentation, illustration, or advertising on manufactured materials and packaging.
    • Prepares itemized production requirements to produce item as per demand. Attend the sites to be present  during commissioning at site in case required.
    • Reads publications, attends showings, and studies traditional, period, and contemporary design styles and motifs to obtain perspective and design concepts.
    • Attending queries of internal & external clients & coordinating for the orders. Prepares quotation as per specific job & submit further.
    • Design and develop control panel for pumps with PLC programming expertise, utilize knowledge of Arduino to develop control systems.
    • Manage stock and inventory related to control panels, review and approve the work of junior electrical engineers.
    • Provides technical support to customers as required. Conduct research to stay updated with the industry trends and developments.
    • Work with cross functional teams to ensure that control panels are integrated seamlessly into larger systems.
