We are pleased to announce that the following employee has been awarded with “What Outstanding Work” (WOW) award in the month of August 2019 in RWMD by Mr. Masoud Abaudiyan, Head-RWMD (UAE).

The above employee Mr. Mansoor Aboodian, Manager – Services Division & Operations Head – Oman has been awarded WOW for excellent commercial acumen and client handling. After the price increase of OCC in the international market, he effectively re-negotiated the monthly purchases with Istanbul Group and Al Barakah Group and convinced the suppliers to continue with the July month purchase rate of AED 300/ton without any increase for the month of August and September.

 

This resulted in saving an approx. amount of AED 35,595/- (Aug month) and AED 55,935/- (Sept. month) [with an average collection quantity of 786 tons/month (OCC); 1,017 tons/month (OCC + Non-OCC)] from the above suppliers.

 

The OCC rate keeps fluctuating on a monthly basis.
