Governance & Ethics
M.A.H.Y. Khoory Group is directed by its founding families through a Board of Directors, with a management team accountable for each business. The principles on which the Group was built are upheld today through financial controls, Group-wide HSE procedures and independently certified management systems.
Private Ownership &
Board Oversight
The Group is privately held and owned by the founding families. Private ownership allows decisions to be taken over a long horizon, and keeps those who set the standards accountable for upholding them.
The Board of Directors holds responsibility for the Group and every company within it. Each company is led by its own management team, accountable to the Board for performance.
Governance Across Generations
Successive generations of leadership have held to the same principles: keeping one’s word, and taking responsibility towards employees, suppliers and customers.
As leadership passes to a new generation, the Board’s priorities for the next chapter include stronger governance, consistent systems and clear accountability, built on those principles.
Financial reporting is managed on a single platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), with a standard chart of accounts across the Group’s entities. The Group HSE Department applies standard procedures, digital incident reporting and performance monitoring.
The Group Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct defines the behaviour expected of everyone who acts on behalf of the Group. It rests on five principles: integrity, compliance with the law, avoidance of conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and respect and responsibility. Breaches are addressed through established disciplinary procedures.
The same expectations apply to suppliers and business partners.
Confidential Reporting of Concerns
Employees and third parties may report suspected misconduct through the Group’s internal channels. Reports are handled in confidence and investigated fairly, and no one who raises a concern in good faith faces retaliation.
