Abdullah Abdulrahman Abdullah Sharafi
Abdullah Sharafi chairs the Board, with more than four decades in banking, commerce and finance. After two decades at Emirates Industrial Bank, he became Managing Director of Gerab National Enterprises in 2004, and now sits on the Dubai Financial Services Authority Board. An adviser to the UAE Central Bank and federal ministries, he holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of Denver.
Abdulla Sharafi brings the Board more than a decade of investment leadership, with a focus on long-term value that informs how the Group weighs its investments. He has been Chief Executive Officer of Sharafi Group Investments since February 2013, leading its growth into new sectors. He holds a degree in Management from the University of Manchester.
Omar Khoory brings the Board deep experience in real estate and destination development. During more than 18 years at Nakheel, latterly as Chief Assets Officer, he opened Nakheel Mall, The Pointe and Circle Mall, and built hospitality joint ventures with RIU, Centara and Rixos. He is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ithra Dubai, owned by the Investment Corporation of Dubai.
Omar Ghazi Khoory is a third-generation shareholder of M.A.H.Y. Khoory & Co. and brings the Board more than 15 years of experience in internal audit, finance, risk management, property management and corporate governance. He is Head of Internal Audit at Wasl Properties, where he leads the internal audit function and reports directly to the Board Audit Committee.
Issa Khoory is an entrepreneur and executive who has led businesses across manufacturing, trade, real estate and investment. He is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ghitha Holding, IHC’s listed trading and distribution company, and has led Mirak Group since 2010. He brings the Board listed-company governance as a board member of SHUAA Capital and Al Ain Farms.

Group Chief Executive Officer
Abdel Rahman Obaid leads M.A.H.Y. Khoory Group as Group Chief Executive Officer, with more than 25 years of experience leading and transforming businesses. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, held senior roles at 3M, Fresh Del Monte and Johnson Controls, and has led diversified family-business groups, including Manaseer Group. His career spans industrial, technology, science and consumer businesses.
