This Privacy Policy explains how Mohd. Abdulla Haji Yousuf Khoory & Co. L.L.C., trading as M.A.H.Y. Khoory & Co. LLC (M.A.H.Y. Khoory, we, us, our), P.O. Box 41, Abu Hail, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, collects and uses personal data through www.mahykhoory.com (the Website) and when you contact us through it.
M.A.H.Y. Khoory is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Where we pass your enquiry to another company in the M.A.H.Y. Khoory Group (the Group) to respond to you, that company also handles your data for that purpose.
We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable laws.
This policy covers the Website only. Group companies with their own websites have their own privacy notices.
Personal data we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiries and requests for quotation: name, email address, telephone number, company, job title, country and city, the business or Group company you select, the subject and content of your message, and details of your requirement, such as product, quantity, dimensions, delivery location and date, or, for service requests, the equipment model, serial number and fault. You may also attach files such as drawings, artwork or photographs.
- Job applications: name, contact details, CV, qualifications, employment history and any other information you choose to include.
- Newsletter and updates (if you subscribe): name and email address, and your subscription preferences.
- Correspondence: information in emails, calls and messages you exchange with us.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, time-zone setting and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, referring website and downloads.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive personal data (such as health, religious or biometric data), payment card details, bank details or identity documents through the Website.

International transfers
Our Website, email and customer relationship management systems are run by service providers who may store or process personal data in the UAE or in other countries. Manufacturers, principals and brand partners we share enquiries with may also be based outside the UAE.
We transfer personal data outside the UAE only where permitted by UAE law. This includes transfers to countries with adequate data protection legislation, transfers under agreements that apply to the UAE, transfers under contracts that require the recipient to apply appropriate safeguards, transfers needed to perform a contract with you, and transfers with your express consent.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, and then delete or anonymise it securely, unless the law requires us to keep it longer or it is needed for a legal claim.

How we protect your data

Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in UAE law, you have the right to:

- object to processing, including processing for direct marketing;
- object to decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or serious effects on you;
- withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
To exercise any right, contact us using the details in section 11. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Some rights may be limited where we must keep data to comply with the law or for legal claims. If we cannot fully meet a request, we will explain why.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in the UAE.
Marketing
We send marketing emails only to people who have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time using the contact details below.
Children
The Website is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
